MicrOmics Column Trial Program
Experience MicrOmics NanoLC columns in your own workflow—you only pay shipping
MicrOmics is launching the “Put Better Performance to the Test” campaign to give more researchers an opportunity to experience our NanoLC columns in their own laboratories.
We believe the most meaningful way to evaluate a column is not through specifications or marketing claims, but by testing it with your own samples, instrument, and workflow. Through this campaign, qualified customers can receive an initial MicrOmics NanoLC column at no charge. You only pay the shipping cost, with no purchase commitment.
Run your existing method, compare the results with your current column, and decide for yourself whether MicrOmics delivers a meaningful difference.
Performance Presented at ASMS 2026
At ASMS 2026 in San Diego, MicrOmics presented the poster:
“Effect of Emitter, Particle and Heater Design on Integrated-Column for LC-MS-Based Proteomics.”
The study evaluated three plug-and-play heated NanoLC column systems for heating efficiency, chromatographic separation, proteome identification, usability, and reusability.
Each 75 µm × 15 cm column configuration was evaluated in triplicate using HeLa digest on a Thermo Ultimate 3000 NanoLC coupled to a Thermo Exploris 480 with FAIMS Pro. The data were analyzed using DIA-NN.
Under the study conditions, the MicrOmics column delivered:
compared with 5,067 and 3,997 for the other evaluated systems
compared with 2,179 and 1,250
compared with 4.22 and 5.54 seconds
A pressure reduction slightly greater than the theoretical36% reductionexpected when heating a column from 23 °C to 50 °C
For the 10 ng HeLa comparison, this represented approximately35% more protein identifications than Vendor Tand approximately7% more than Vendor I, under the specific experimental conditions used in the study.

Better Performance
MicrOmics NanoLC columns combine carefully selected stationary phases, optimized packing methods, integrated emitter options, and effective temperature control.
These design elements are intended to support:
- Narrow and consistent chromatographic peaks
- Strong signal intensity
- Stable electrospray performance
- High protein and peptide identifications
- Reliable performance across repeated analyses
Rather than asking you to rely only on our comparison data, we invite you to evaluate the performance directly in your own workflow.
Fast Turnaround
A delayed replacement column can slow down an entire research project.
MicrOmics maintains commonly requested column configurations in stock and prioritizes fast order handling. Many standard products can be prepared and shipped quickly, while lead times for custom configurations are clearly communicated before an order is placed.
Our goal is to help you spend less time waiting for consumables and more time running experiments.
Better, Transparent Pricing
High-performance NanoLC columns should not require premium pricing or complicated quotation processes.
MicrOmics offers clear and competitive pricing so laboratories can evaluate both performance and long-term operating cost. We aim to provide a practical alternative for laboratories that want strong chromatographic performance without unnecessarily high consumable costs.
Plug-and-Play Heating
MicrOmics NanoLC columns are available with the ColuMate™ plug-and-play heating solution.
The ColuMate system uses a reusable clamshell-style heater with a removable column cartridge. This design provides effective and consistent column heating while allowing the column to be replaced independently of the heater.
The result is a practical combination of:
- Effective temperature control
- Straightforward installation
- Reusable heating hardware
- Flexible column replacement
- Reduced long-term consumable cost
No Commitment—You Only Pay Shipping
For your initial trial, MicrOmics will provide the NanoLC column at no charge. You only cover the shipping cost.
There is no purchase commitment and no requirement to change your existing method or workflow. Install the column, run your samples, and compare the results directly with the column you currently use.
We want more researchers to have the opportunity to experience the difference for themselves.
