Our founder Ryan Kelly started his research on etched emitters at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL)
2005
MicrOmics co-founder Kerry Nugent invented the CaptiveSpray ionization source. Kerry and Ryan collaborated to integrate etched emitters into the CaptiveSpray design
2011
The CaptiveSpray technology was acquired by Bruker
2018
Ryan developed NanoPots for ultra sensitive low input proteomics
2020
MicrOmics Technologies LLC was officially founded
2020
MicrOmics introduced Constant i.d. Etched-Tip (CET) ESI emitters to the commercial market
2024
MicrOmics launched its nanoLC column product line, including integrated-emitter columns
2025
MicrOmics developed the ColuMate column-heating system
